Celebration of a Successful VE Day Parade

We extend our congratulations to the County Grand Lodge of Glasgow for organising and executing a highly successful VE Day parade. The event was a remarkable tribute to the courage and determination of our armed forces and a testament to our community's spirit and dedication to reflect and remember these heroes.

Despite the local media's unfounded scaremongering and sensationalism, which predicted disruptions and unrest, the parade proceeded with dignity and respect, receiving praise from both the Police and Glasgow City Council.

We hope that future Orange events will be met with more balanced and supportive coverage, reflecting the positive impact such gatherings have on our community.
